William X. White B.C.L.

(better known as Billie) is the founder and principal of W. X. White Solicitors. Having completed his BCL at University College Dublin, Billie qualified as a Solicitor in 1977 and has been in practice both in partnership and as a firm principal since then. In his over 42 years of practice Billie has built up a vast experience in all areas of general practice to include, Conveyancing (buying and selling houses and land), litigation to include personal injuries, wills and probate, agricultural and commercial lease to name but a few. In addition to his qualifications as a Practicing Solicitor Billie is also a Commissioner for Oaths.

Seamus Maher LL.B

Solicitor who qualified in 2008, before becoming a solicitor Seamus worked for almost 10 years in the pension industry during that time Seamus also studied for his LL.B with Griffith College Dublin by night. Since qualifying Seamus has worked both in house in the pensions industry and with a number of general practitioners in County Laois before joining W. X. White Solicitors in November 2017. Seamus’s main area of practice is Conveyancing, litigation to include personal injuries, wills and probate.

Bridget Bennett B.A.

Legal Executive, Bridget has worked with W. X. White Solicitors since its establishment in its current style and before that with Billie since June 2003 (taking year out in 2005 to travel to Australia). Before joining the firm Bridget qualified with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Business from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2003 and worked with legal firms in both Waterford and Laois. As well as assisting clients Bridget is the Office Manager and deals the day to day accounts management.
